I like Gomez in the 2nd spot for the time being, the last couple series he's been putting together some pretty good ABs and getting on base . Hart is going to be a little rusty and wasn't exactly tearing the cover off the ball during his rehab, so for today Gomez is the best option.
There is an argument to be made that Gomez is the WORST option of all the starters today:

Career Lines:
Gomez: .246/.293/.347/.640

Gallardo: .221/.260/.425.686

But Gomez had a decent week, so we should adjust our expectations for him today?

Yo is definitely our worst starting pitcher so far this year. I'm hoping he's just having a bad month, which could be the case. He better turn it around soon. He's just seemed to have command issues his last couple starts. Can't help but notice the timing with week between starts he had to start this bad streak for him.

I have come to the realization that Yovani will never become the stud he was supposed to become. He is maybe a solid #2 at best.

Yo doesn't have an out pitch. His fastball doesn't seem to move much, and he doesn't throw the curve for strikes very often. Hitters just have to get ahead in the count and look for a fastball. All of this equals a lot of hits and a lot of pitches. I'm more than a little concerned.
You may run like Mays...

I hope that Yo realizes to that he needs to stop messing around and always going to a 2-0 count so he has to groove fastballs to every batter. This should be a pretty large wakeup call.

Terribly disappointing start for a guy who I thought was going to make the leap to a Cy Young contender this season.

He's had at least 200 k's the last 2 years...pretty sure he has an out pitch
