This game actually starts at 12:10 pm. Seems strange to start so early. I don't remember them having home games at noon before, but there are a few on the schedule.

Time for Yo to get right and take the series! Go Crew!

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

Weeks 4 Gomez 8 Braun 7 Fielder 3 McGehee 5 Hart 9 Betancourt 6 Lucroy 2 Gallardo 1

Can't say that I'm all that surprised that Gomez remains in the 2-hole. Hopefully just until Corey gets comfortable, but I have my doubts. Glad McGehee is back in there - he's been hitting pretty well the last 2 weeks or so.

Those numbers for Gallardo do not look good. Hopefully he can sharpen up today and get a series win.

It's so nice to see seven quality hitters in the lineup. When Morgan comes back and starts to platoon with Gomez, it'll be seven or eight depending on the day.

This is the lineup that I was hoping for today. I like Gomez in the 2nd spot for the time being, the last couple series he's been putting together some pretty good ABs and getting on base . Hart is going to be a little rusty and wasn't exactly tearing the cover off the ball during his rehab, so for today Gomez is the best option. Very relieved to see Casey back in the lineup already!
