Prince has always wanted a long-term deal with the Brewers. It was just a matter of the Brewers giving him what he wanted in terms of money. I don't know how many of these "WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR FIELDER!?!" stories from the national media. He was gone before the Braun extension, and he's still gone.

Gallardo is still really struggling with his control, but it's amazing that he only has 1 walk tonight. That's probably a part of the problem tonight -- he's not giving in, and instead is leaving pitches in the zone that are being hit.

Holy smokes. There is something to be said for having sure handed fielders, even if they have little range. As frustrating as it is, it is far less so than watching a little league team like the Astros throw it around the yard. It's been nothing short of atrocious.

Game cast is struggling w this one, what happened ?
Ball hit by Yuni got under 3B's glove, but it was a play that probably should've been made. Ball goes into LF, where Carlos Lee promptly bobbles the ball while trying to pick it up. Bill was wondering if two errors could be given on the play.

Was that Greinke in the dugout? Isn't he supposed to be in Nashville? Did I miss something?

Yes, they showed him earlier. Idk when his next start is? Maybe he asked to be with the team between starts.

The FB that struck out Hall was 96 on the FSN gun, nothing wrong with Yo's arm.

Instead of riding the bus and staying in a Nashville hotel, Greinke wants to stay with the big league club as much as possible. He goes out to the city where he's rehabbing the night before the game then hopping on the first flight back to rejoin the big league club.
