After last nights win I'm feeling confident about the sweep, even against Lee. Funny how much two games can make a difference in perspective. It's soo nice to have competent back end starters (or front end guys, depending how you want to look at it). When Wolf and Narveson throw solid games it's going to be really incredible to come back with Greinke and Marcum!! I suspect we're going to see some nice winning streaks this year. Hopefully this can be one of them. Keep it going boys!

That lineup is still awful though. Hart can't come back soon enough.

I feel less worried about the lineup after the past couple games. Lucroy has been solid at the plate, and Betancourt has been showing some flashes of not being completely useless. Still don't like Gomez in the two spot, but whatever...

Excited to see Narveson take the mound again and hopefully continue his dominance.

Today is gravy as I see it. Would appreciate a win for my bday, but notexpectingit. Cliff is a lot like marcum in that you have to attack him and hope you make solid contact

I'm excited about this game too. I know it's early in the season, but yesterday can do nothing but build confidence for this team. They hit a pitcher that they weren't supposed to be able to hit. And for twenty one straight innings, they shut down a lineup that is not supposed to be able to be shut down. It's only two games, but the road to the World Series will most likely pass through Philly, and they proved that they can hang with the best.

Not to mention, hang with the best in their home park with healthy attendance. This has been nice. Real nice.

Also, happy birthday andersoc420.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

2 BB all year for Lee. Wow. It's going to be hard to get his pitch count up and be aggresive at the same time.

They should all purposely foul off as many pitches as possible that aren't in their wheelhouse.

Halladay only had 3 walks coming into last night. He walked 2. You never know.

Not sure why some act surprised when the Brewers win or loss games they aren't expected to. In baseball, a huge underdog still has around a 1 in 3 chance of winning. Brewers were around 2:1 underdogs yesterday and today, according to Vegas. 33% chance of a sweep!

So I'm starting to come around on Gomez. He's looked awfully good out there. His defense has never been questioned, but he's been putting the ball in play a lot more recently as well. Taking third base there in the first directly gave us a run.
