The Phillies just said the Brewers have been one of the better defensive teams this far in the NL. I know we see things differently, but for the stat heads out there what do the stats say?

I remember the Nationals broadcasters saying how awful their defense was.

I thought the problem was with Lucroy, but why does Wolf look like he has problems getting on the same page with catchers.

I think he has some prima donna in him. He seems very "needy" on the mound and always seems to show a sense of frustration with his catchers as if any mistake "he" makes is attributed to his catcher instead.

I noticed Kranitz smiling in the dugout when he called Lucroy out to the mound for a 2nd time in one inning last game as if to say, "Randy being Randy."

I think they are saying this because the Brewers don't have a lot of errors so far this year. Besides Gomez, all of the Brewers fielders are below average.

Greinke went 4 innings! 2 hits, 2 walks, 0 runs, 4 K's
Yes! That must mean he felt good out there. Great sign! Roenicke seemed adamant about him getting 3 starts, but it's still nice to know he's looking and feeling good out there.

I wonder how many total pitches he threw. I think RR is taking the correct approach in setting his sights on 3 starts from the get-go so Greinke doesn't feel like he has to do too much in his first two.

Actually, according to the box score he went 3 innings 1 H 0 BB 4 K. But still good.
Per twitter:

That box score from Brevard was wrong. We

thought it was too many pitches. Greinke went 3 IP, with 1 H, 0 BB and 3

K. 35 pitches.
