well, it wasn't terrible. And his .945 OPS since 07 with crap defense has been pretty awesome for me. I mean, it'd be nice if he was a better hitter than those bums like pujols, cabrera, holliday and a-rod, but i guess i'll take the 5th best OPS in the league over that period
So he is an excellent hitter since 07 but he wasn't last year. Trevor Hoffmann was a great pitcher for a lot of years but he wasn't last year. It's a what have you done for me lately world...

If by approaching Jenkins territory, you mean one of the best hitters in baseball over the last few years, then I guess I could agree with that.

You know, sometimes pitchers do a good job and get batters to swing and miss.

Yep, his .871 ops with crap defense was AWESOME last year:

How do you feel about Ryan Braun's .866 OPS with crap defense last year? Get him off the team too, right?

Wil Nieves hitting for Stetter. Going with the righty vs. lefty matchup I guess. Stetter could have done that.

Nope...but he isn't looking for $150mm in the offseason. Prince's biggest value to the team right now, in my always incorrect opinion, is as part of a midseason trade for a shortstop and a MLB-ready reliever plus more.

Those arguing for more Lucroy in the 2 hole may have won another convert.

What does it matter? In a few days Morgan will hit there and a few days later it will be Hart.

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

We look like a team with way too many holes to be a serious competitor to me.

many of those holes can (hopefully) be fixed by Greinke, Hart, Morgan, Saito, and Hawkins getting healthy.

Agree entirely...we will be fine.

Kintzler in, Narveson heading out to the bullpen just in case. Looks like TripleR is going to hold Braddock back in case of a lead.

I guess we can just disagree on the Fielder thoughts. I cannot stand offense-only players. Several of you are okay with all O and no D players. End of my opinions for the night.

That's fine. Trading Prince is your opinion and you're entitled to it. I may disagree (and I do, if the brewers are competing), but I won't get worked up about it.

BUT, when you try to say that Prince Fielder is not an asset offensively to the Brewers, you are 100% absolutely wrong. You can hate his defense, hate his attitude, and want to trade him.....but saying he doesn't help the team offensively is just plain not true.
