Mike Walker – who also homered in the first game – deposited a 1-1 offering from Peoria reliever Eduardo Figueroa over the right field fence with pinch runner Robbie Garvey on base to turn what had been a 1-0 deficit into the Rattlers fifth victory of the season.

"(Figueroa) just hung a changeup, kind of left it up there," Walker said. "The changeup is actually kind of my nemesis pitch, but when you leave it up like that, it kind of floats there. I was fortunate enough to just get out in front of it just enough to put it out."

Walker's blast salvaged an outstanding outing by Rattlers starter Tyler Thornburg. Thornburg allowed three hits and one run over 5 2/3 innings, while striking out eight, and lowered his ERA to 1.04 on the season.

I'd have to imagine that, if Chris wanted to move up the proverbial broadcasting chain, he'd pretty easily be able to find opportunities. He does great work for the T-Rats, & we're lucky to have him. What a great call!
