2007 Vent Thread, Part 1

The display surrounding Capellan's demotion could've been overlooked, but leaving the Sounds couldn't have been. I believe the team has now made its point with José.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Melvin/Yost should swallow their pride and admit to Capellan they made the wrong decision out of spring training. After they make peace, politely tell him that he will make so much more money in this league if he would just try a little harder.

Spurling now makes me just as angry as Aquino did, just without the two losses to go with it.

No, no, no! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

José can be cut slack for shooting off his mouth. He can be cut slack for requesting a trade. He can even be cut slack for making things difficult by making the trade request public. And now that he's been bypassed for a recall, leaving his team can be put in the past. But no way should Yost/Melvin admit they were wrong.

After seeing Chris Spurling 3 times, I want Greg Aquino back. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

The question that I have -- aside from the Nashville AWOL situation and all the pissing and moaning -- is that, there was a reason Capellan didn't make the team -- he was not hitting the gun where he should have been, or his location was not impressive I am not sure exactly what was "wrong", but is this issue resolved?? -- It is silly to think (for example) if Capellan can't hit his velocity that he is going to be an asset to the pen.

Capellan the pitcher was sent to Nashville out of ST, not Capellan the whiner. I don't think that DM needs to "admit he was wrong" -- If Capellan isn't pitching well, you might as well keep Spurling and Aquino in place.

If Capellan can help us win games, then bring him up, -- but if he is still "out of shape" or whatever, he is going to get lit up.
