Saito is unavailable with a hammy. Probably Loe even though he pitched yesterday.

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

It is not a nickname, it is another person. For example, when he is on the ball field or ice rink he is a bad mother who doesn't back down from anyone including catchers who weigh 100 lbs more than him. When he is accompanying a fashionable young debutant to the opera, tasting wine, hunting foxes or playing bridge he becomes the charming chap Tony Plush.

Okay, well I'll probably stick to calling him Nyjer then, because I'm assuming that the only time I'll see him is on the ball field. I do have a man-crush I think, but I don't think he'll ever escort me to the opera. Which is probably for the best since my grandmother just had heart surgery, and I don't think she could take the news.

Anyone else ordered a custom shirt off the Brewers website using the"design your own"? I ordered a Rickie Weeks one 6 weeks ago and it still hasn't come in...otherwise I might get me a gentleman's shirt to go with it.
I haven't designed my own before, but I did order two custom shirts in February. It took a few weeks, but not six.

 

I'd begun thinking of a custom PLUSH t-shirt at Wednesday's game, or at least a PLUSH 2 avatar. Obviously I didn't act quickly enough.

Last year, the terrace level fan store had a custom counter where you could choose a name and number - not on an "authentic" shirsey, i.e. not navy - but the font is correct. Last year I got a custom Lucroy, navy on gray, for maybe $25. It was a Wednesday night, so it's possible the walk-off Wednesday discount applied, but it was cheaper than I thought.

 

Incidentally, now that my mom has left, I'm in the chat room, as is panama74. Come join us!
