Wow, that was a no doubter, and I disagree Bill, that was thigh high right down the middle. Heyward should hit that pitch a mile.

They've been playing with fire all season having a LHP up in the bullpen, yet not bringing him in to face a LHB. This time it potentially costs them three runs. Estrada settled down and has been pitching well, though, so I guess you can't second guess too much.

Is it acceptable to have a Suppanesque view of Estrada? If he gets us through 6 only giving up 4 runs we call it a win?

Yet nobody is up in the Brewers bullpen...

Really? He just gave us 6 solid innings in a spot start and Heyward happens to be kinda good. And he touches 91/92 with a good change up that he commands well so I would not consider him a "junk baller"

This is so disgusting listening to Brian and Bill spin this like Estrada did such a good job.

It certainly wasn't horrible, but they're talking like it was a good performance.

4Ks and 1 BB in 6 innings is good. Estrada wasn't great but lets not pretend that he was just lucky

Has Braddock touched the mid 90s all season? I don't recall a FB over 93... he just had 3 in a row at 91. I just looked at fangraphs and his average was 93 last season, sitting at 91.5 this year. He's too young to lose that kind of velocity.

I wouldn't be opposed to him pitching another inning here, he cruised through the 7th.

that was one Casey's better defensive plays.
