BBS '96. Durkee County. Lewis might have been my city as well. I rose to the ranks of state senator and participated in parliamentary procedure over....nothing, i suppose.

I recall during that week the stadium approval process hit a legislative bump. My counselor wore his Brewers jersey and told us the brewers were leaving wisconsin. ..then when nobody said anything he said: "ah, whatever...everybody in this state's a twins fan anyway."

...and to think the milkmaids from back then are well into their 20's now.

City of Lewis, 1998. Pretty sure I still have my BBS white t-shirt around somewhere, too (although it's now skin-tight).

I too became a U.S. Senator. I distinctly remember the other senator I "served " with becoming the president of the State of Wisconsin College Republicans a few years back. Needless to say, he took it a bit more seriously than I did.

I also remember that every one of the milk maids (or milk wenches, as we called them) looked like Kathy Ireland by Friday. I also remember throwing one of my city-mate's matresses out the window, which nearly got a group of us sent home early.

I also remember rivalries with other cities which included "pennying" doors and water balloons. We're talking West Side Story stuff here.

Ralph, I think I was there in 1998 too (it took place after your junior year of HS, right?)

Anyway, the best part of the week was when they left the PA machine in our city's dormitory by mistake (after they had used it to align us in the shape of Wisconsin for that picture). We proceeded to play Adam Sandler's "They're All Going To Laugh At You" over the PA.....you could hear it clear across campus. Good times.

1992 or 1993, I don't remember the city. I thought it was after senior year of high school, though? I do remember that I lost a city judge race to someone who marketed himself as the candidate of sex, drugs and Joy, one of the girls who worked in the cafeteria. Good times all around. I wore the shirt until last year.

I dont remember the exact year i went. Maybe 2000. I do remember it was at Ripon college though and was just hot as hades that week. There were plenty of late night water balloon sessions that got us into some trouble. I also remember one of the larger elections was won by a dude whose last name was pronounced "beer". Granted he won by a landslide because of his name, but he had wrote up a pretty good speech.
