MLB.com Gameday?

The Gameday is working fun, it's just obnoxious. I think they created this version for people who are not infront of a TV or near a radio. I tend to use Gameday to accentuate my game experience by having the boxscore and stats immediately available. The new gameday is awful. The old "classic" style is okay, but doesn't switch to other games in the same mode--it always reverts to the new type

I totally agree and after the game, if you want to go check the stats or how hard a pitcher was throwing you can't even do that. Unless I'm just missing how you can do that.

This is still awful. You think they would fix it, but no. Why must they change this every year? The gameday they had last year was perfect, now it's way too flashy and you can't even look at gameday after they put the wrap up on. They always try to "upgrade" every year and they usually fail. Is there any place I can complain about this because it's horrible.

I've had major problems getting Gameday to even show up in Chrome 10.0.648.204. I have to resort to the worst case 'saw off your leg' scenario of the IE Tab extension, which mimics Internet Explorer but inside Chrome. That works fine every time.

But I agree, it is obnoxious in its new form. Maybe it will grow on me. At least they did give the classic option.

It doesn't just mimic Internet Exploder. It runs it, security bugs and all.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Yeah I know that but if you miss a game and want to go back and go through gameday, you can't do that after it's over. That's my main problem.

Maybe this isn't what you want, but here's yesterdays game:

You have to click on the Summary button on the bottom and then you can see each pitch to each batter (including pitch type, speed, etc.). You can also watch video of all the scoring plays.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006
