Scorecard Addiction

JET15

Do we have any scorecard addicts in BF? I've already scored about 50 Brewer games this year. It keeps me in the game. I don't get to watch the entire game most days because of driving the kids to activities, yardwork, whatever. You know how it goes. So the scorecard allows me to listen to Ueke and keep up with it.

The kids often check with the scorecard, too. The wife and kids can all score games and often do when we go the game. And oddly enough, I don't score games when we attend them because I just want to be completely into everything at the game.

Keeping the old scorecards are a cool way to look back on the season. Everyone keeps score in a different way, too. You could collect 100 scorecards at a game and they'd all be different.

I wish I could see Ueke's scorecard and see how they combine their own cards info with stuff that gets fed to them to do the games.

I've scored 10 or so games at home. I have to be in a certain mood to do it at home, it seems. I love scoring when I'm at the games, but I HATE the scorecards at Miller Park. They have the basepaths on them, which are annoying as it is, but they're too big and its hard to write in the sides. Of the other ballparks I've been to, all of them have just plain empty squares. I really hope Miller will change theirs, as it would make me score more at games for sure.

I hear ya. Good price, bad design. I always use my own that I make with Excel and they don't have the diamonds. The diamonds just make it too hard to read. I have empty squares. And the squares are pretty big because I don't have any for totals. I don't take the time to do totals.

I only score games I go to. Kind of a history of the games I go to. I wish the Brewers had scorebooks for sale.

EDIT: Got the scorebook for about $20 with space for 100 games. Saves money in the long term. If it is a special game I can always buy a scorecard to display.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.
