Kotsay has an OPS of 1.404 in 17 PAs against Arroyo including 2 HRs, but it's still a small sample size and almost all of those at bats took place pre-2006 before Arroyo was a Red. I don't care for Mark Kotsay and I hope he hits 3 HRs this afternoon.

A win would be really nice today, it would be tough to start a season 0-3 after everyone was pretty optimistic just a few days ago.

Arroyo usually does pretty well against the crew, and it looks like Kotsay is the only one who has had real success against him in the past. Right now, I dont have much confidence in Wolf against a lineup like the Reds, but the Brewers really need to find a way to win today. It would be nice for the Brewers to have at least 1 win before I head to Miller Park on Tuesday...

A win would definitely be nice today. I changed my avatar out of superstition, so that has to help, right?

Hopefully the Kottaras-Wolf magic of the second half last year can continue.

So what has to happen for Nyjer Morgan to get a start over Kotsay? Does anyone have any incriminating photos of Roenicke to pass along to him? Kotsay has the range of a sleeping rock. I would love to see Morgan lead-off some game with Weeks batting second just once to see what it's like for Weeks to hit with someone on base.

It sure would have been nice to have someone on for that HR. Prophet lives up to his name, props to you

Betancourt with a nice play! I didn't know he was able to do that. Honestly though, I don't think I've seen a Mariners or Royals game in.......ever. So this series is the first I've seen of Betancourt.

See Betancourt isn't completely useless. How many 0fers from Kotsay will it take before Morgan gets to start instead of him http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
