Man I'm just pumped for this game. If we win I will feel like the season is going to be a great one. If we lose I'll feel like we are doomed and it will be the worst thing ever!. I get way too excited about the first month's games!

Here's to Yo pitching a gem and our bats staying hot!

Weeks red hot spring + awesome success vs. Volquez = Brewers win this one!

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

I think this first month of the season will be the toughest. Hopefully we can hang around .500 and only succeed from there. A win to start would be great.
I am thinking the same thing. I would be very happy with .500 but I don't think they project even that well for the first month.

Completely agree. If we can hang at the .500 mark with the injuries we have for the first month, I will be very happy. Winning this first series would be huge since the Reds will most likely be the team we have to jump to get into the playoffs. I think Wolf and Narvey are going to have a big April or at least step up if we want to be at or around .500 though. Obviously the bats won't stay as hot as they were for ST, but it would be nice to start the season with hot bats with so many injuries to start the year.

Wow, the Reds have lit up Yo in his career.

And I love a lineup of Weeks, Out, Braun, Fielder, McGehee, Out, Out, Out, Gallardo. I think Gallardo should be batting 5th or 6th in today's lineup.

DANG!

that's a potent 1 thru 5. and I mean the Reds.

Should be a really fun season; can't believe it's here already.

Raising my glass to Yo and Zack pitching on 6 days rest each for games 1 and 2 of the NLDS at Miller Park.

Why the hell are we starting Nieves?

While my opinion doesn't mean jack, I personally, prefer Nieves to Kottaras, although Kottaras played well during ST. Does this mean Nieves will stay when Lucroy comes back?

Hooray, baseball! I'm looking forward to (as John Axford put it) the 2011 Brewers Domination Station. Start the season right with a big win. I'm at work, but will be taking in the sounds of Uecker and Provus very soon. Doesn't get much better than that, folks.

I despise the new gameday.

Edit: I will say I like that you can watch highlights while the game is still going on instead of having to wait until the end of the game like last year. Other than that, they tried to make it too fancy (the stadium where the game is being played in the background) a big square for the pitcher vs batter matchup.

Was thinking the same thing. You really could make a legitimate case for Gallardo batting 6th in that lineup! Anyway, here we go!! Hopefully one of many wins starting today!
