All three games of the Cubs-White Sox series have failed to sell out -- there have been about 5,000 unsold tickets for each game.

If that stat doesn't speak volumes about the oversaturation of "natural" rivalry games during interleague play, I don't know what does. Granted, both teams are not very good, but the TB-MIL series outdrew the intracity series by a healthy margin.

Yeah, it was a nice idea when it started, but it's gotten old. I really don't think the Brewers need to necessarily play the Twins two series per season.

How dumb is it that the Athletics have never played a series at Miller Park at this point?

Alcides Escobar is really heating-up.....in his first 18 games in June he's raking .369/.397/.523 & has raised his average to .255
1 for 10 in his last 3 games average back down to .249 and OPS struggling to stay north of .600. His glove is great but his he rarely walks and does not hit for power. However I would rather have him than Yuni

How is Ned going over in KC and with their fans?
They want him gone yesterday.

Royal Review went on a pretty good rant about Yost the other day.

This sounds like Brewers fans around 2005:

"

Honestly, if you want to be jaded about it, none of this matters in

2011. Pena sucks, Maier sucks, Dyson is a toy, Kila sucks, the 2011 Royals

suck. Go that direction if you want. However, what happens when it is

2013 and the games actually matter? What happens when the prospects

being misused aren't old Baird holdovers that everyone hates, but

products of the Greatest Farm System Ever? What happens when those one

or two extra wins the maanger is supposed to provide turn into one or

two extra losses?"

Well he would have been blocked by his brother so he would have just been traded anyway. And yeah, he isn't going to SLG .500.
Maybe... then again maybe Rickie doesn't get resigned, maybe Jemile goes to KC instead of Escobar or Cain, etc... there's many different ways having another legit prospect in the system could have swung things.

J. Weeks can't play SS. Its why he's at 2B.
Since when has not being able to play SS prevented a player from playing SS?

That would be a neat DP combo. Has there ever been a pair of brothers to play 2B-SS for the same team?
