Braun injury thread here.

As for this game, Prince HBP, McGehee homers -- a familiar pattern

Nothing more tedious than getting starting pitchers to their fully extended peak for Opening Week -- Marcum taken deep twice today, and the Muscle's is still in orbit. Man, Russell is fun.

I am so looking forward to about seven sweet seasons of the Logan Schafer era in CF -- starting with Opening Day 2012. Can't wait, just can't wait, and that's so much more about Logan than it is about Gomez.

Yes Schafer excites me too. If not for the trade, it could've been Cain. I think he's going to be special

I thin part of the reason Cain could have been moved was how the Brewers felt about Schafer.

Agreed. I was just saying. I really like them both and will continue to follow Cain. I should note that I am a fan of Gomez also so I like where we are at in CF

Definitely. Schafer is considered an excellent defender with a strong arm from what I've heard and read. During the radio broadcasts and webcasts this spring there have been several mentions of how easy and effortless he makes it look in cf and how he carries himself as a guy that "just belongs".

Roenicke commented on Schafer today after the game saying how well he has been on defense and also looked good in the batters box. He seems really impressed with the little he has seen of Logan this spring.
