Almonte can play first, while Cruz pretty much duplicates the positions covered by Counsell. So I guess it depends on what is needed.

Counsell is 41 and the biggest hole the team has is short stop. The contest should be between Kotsay and Almonte ;of course Almonte's skills show up on the diamond where Kotsay is a real great guy
