"Betancourt has the offense behind him."

- Bill

To be fair he also said he sucks on defense in a nice way, but still.

Honestly, if Betancourt puts up numbers like he did in KC in 2010, but also somehow plays adequate defense, he'll be fine. Not betting money that will happen, just sayin'...

Man, it's so good to see the Brewers on TV again, even if it's not in HD!

Boggs and Almonte seemed to stand out to me so far. With Almonte having SS experience, he seems to be pretty agile coming off the bag at first on some slightly poor throws.

Gallardo and Axford look like they are ready to go now.

How did Yo look today?

Was GoGo's HR a monster shot? CP said it was a no doubter.

Yo looked great. Gomez's homer was probably 420 feet. Over the 380 foot sign and then off a back wall past the outfield berm.

I had the same thought about Gomez, when I heard the home run call I said to myself he won't stop swinging for the fences for the next two weeks.

Sounds like the wind was whipping out to right pretty hardcore today. Cory called Almonte's home run ball foul about 5 seconds before it stayed fair and said the wind basically willed the ball to stay fair because normally it would have kept slicing.

This was a great game to be on TV. Anyone who missed it should try to catch the replay on MLB Network. We were just hitting like crazy all game. Yo was very good, so was Axford. Great game. Got me pumped to get down there on Saturday and for the season to start!
