White Out?

Did something change in the formatting this morning? On all the pages (forum list, individual forums, individual topic) there is no longer a white-grey-white pattern, the background is completely white making all the posts kind of run together.

 

I'm at work and stuck on IE7, so I can't speak to other browsers.

Yeah, there've been changes to the skin intended to clean up code, but not to drastically change the look. I'm glad you brought that up. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

 

If there's anything else that's off, please let me know. It'll help a lot if you include your browser and version (like chuckiehacks did). The IEs, especially versions 6 & 7, tend to be uncooperative. We definitely want odd/even colors for everyone, though.

Here's what I reported to casey as well, so it's not just a user vs. moderator issue -- I'm using IE7 and/or IE8.

There is no demarcation between the various forums, none between topics, and none between posts, so the issue carries over to those three levels of hierarchy minimum.

 

With no differentiation between posts, while you can tell where one ends and begins because you can still see user avatars to the left, it's still very disconcerting to the eye.

 

The white-out chuckie reported is a good term for it.

Certainly everything is still "readable", but hopefully will be resolved before too long. It's awkward, but survivable for a day or two...
