Nieves, Rivera, & Kottaras all hit .100 or less in ST. Brewers sign Bengie Molina.

Nieves disappears as if he never arrived in the first place (think: Todd Ritchie). Kottaras, as suggested earlier in the thread, gets traded for the next A-baller Josh Butler type.

  • Gomez plays the way he did in September (.400 obp) causing at least one poster to make some remark about the pitch he took off the helmet in early August "Maybe finally knocking some sense into him."
  • Counsell spends the spring going through nagging injuries reaffirming the notion that Cruz needs to be included on the opening day roster

1. The Pirates generate the talk of Spring Training with their Grapefruit League Championship and their young core of position players. (and proceed to be the same old Pirates once the season begins)

2. Mark Rogers pitches well enough the Brewers feel like they have a tough decision to make going into the season on the 5th starter spot.......Decision Made!!.... AJ Burnett goes down with an arm injury and the Yankees are pressed to look for a starter. Brewers trade Wolf to NY for Austine Romine giving Rogers and Narveson the 4th and 5th rotation spots.

3. The Brewers attempt the triple steal..........TWICE.

4. Greinke hits a home run and signs an extension a day later. I'm not sure why those two things should go together but it just seems right http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif.

Team doesn't win a single game.

All 5 sausages break their legs in a tragic accident while rounding the home plate. All sausages will be ok, but the image of compound fractures will haunt us the rest of the season.

Mat Gamel cuts his hair.

It is revealed that The Ax isn't an Canadian, but was actually born in Greenland. He feels better about himself for not being Canadian and strikes out 27 batters on 84 pitches. The three balls he failed to call for a strike he let his mustache throw.

Scot Boras takes a Prince Fielder line drive to the head, having his bell rung his cold dead heart begins to pump again, and like the Grinch changes his world view. He talks Prince into a reasonable contract with the Brewers.

Shaun Marcum sends a message to the Giants by nailing Aubrey Huff in the ribs in the first spring training game. It worked for them last year.

After the game he states "I'm rusty and the pitch just got away, but in case you are wondering we won't put up with throwing at our best players the way Gramps did the last two years."

Yost's worst fears finally prove true when Prince hits into a triple play.

We don't have any issues with the bogey wheels on our roof.

Corey Hart will go the whole year without Lollygagging.

McGehee will take Gomez under his wing and teach him plate discipline.

Brewer bloggers will give our new Manager the benefit of the doubt......................until mid April.

Which causes DM to trade him to the NYM for Mike Nickeas... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Other predictions:

We will see the first Robin of spring. Preferably the Yount type.

The story, and the rest of the pictures, are really worth checking out. Nicely done, Brewers Community Foundation.
