Josh Willingham to Oakland

The A's will get Willingham for "two young players."

Willingham just can't luck his way into a hitters' park, can he? I like the addition for Oakland, Willingham is a nice bat. Dave Cameron did a nice comparison of Willingham & Bay last offseason at FanGraphs.

The Nats will receive RHP Henry Rodriguez and OF Corey Brown.

Willingham swings a nice bat, but he's a stiff in the field and has some injury troubles. I'm intrigued by the players the Nats received. Rodriguez can throw in the triple digits and posts gaudy K/9 numbers, but also walked 6.6/9 in the minors. His walk rate came down in 2010 however. Brown looks like a nice player too, though a bit old for a prospect (25).
