Yankees answer Cliff Lee signing...

Invader3K

With Mark Prior.

The team agreed to sign Mark Prior to a minor league deal, according to ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick (on Twitter). The Rangers and Yankees were the finalists for Prior, who pitched in Texas' system last year, but has not appeared in a major league game since 2006.

It's this kind of crap that reminds me why I hate the Yankees. Once again, they've come in with their millions and squashed the hopes and dreams of the Texas Rangers.

What's next, Cashman serves puppies and small children at the concession stand?

The Rangers did have the audacity to knock NYY out of the 2010 playoffs.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Are the millions comments suppose to be in blue? Prior gets 750,000 IF he makes the major league team and can make another 750,000 in incentives.
Yes, I'm pretty sure people were joking about that.

This is just one of those "injury guy" signings people get fascinated by, that usually ends up amounting to nothing as far as the big league club.
