Pay Pal question...

I entered my checking account information on the site and am waiting for them to make there small deposits so I can authorize. I don't have online banking, so I have to call in and check. There have been no deposits yet.

 

In the mean time I opened up an Ebay account and have won an item. I want to be able to pay this quickly so my feedback is strong. Is there any way to open at Pay Pal account without going through your checking? Can I deposit through a debit card or something? I am confused so any help would be great.

The deposits usually take 2-3 days. Just inform the seller what's going on and he'll understand 99% of time at least.

I'm pretty sure you can use a card if its not confirmed. Its been awhile though, so I'm not 100% on that.

Credit cards will work immediately (as fast as the computers can connect to check).
