Yeah, I saw that on mlbtr. I guess maybe Burnett won't be an option. It still could depend on how much NYY needs to pay Lee to get him to be a yankee. If it's 20M more than they are thinking/hoping, Burnett could still be a guy they want to dump. But I admit it might be less likely than I had thought.

i have no sympathy for the yankees having salery issues. they made their bed. they are completly disrespecting jeter as well. lets throw way more money than what is necessary at everyone on the team, but when it comes to the heart and soul of the team our hands are tied. pathetic
