Anyone else bored out of their damn mind this season? I haven't heard anything good from friends either.

Not as bored with TWD as Homeland, but yes. It has been pretty.... uninspiring to say the least.

I like it. I actually like when they are setup at a place and try to defend. I think the story lines have been a little blah, but there has been some good zombie action and I missed that in season two. That was too much about the other group and that conflict and not about the walkers.

I'm glad it appears that they finally moved on from the virus storyline. The wheels were spinning, but not much was happening. Business has picked up with the return of the Governor. Last week's Governor episode has gotten a lot of hate online, but I thought it was terrific.

I had been enjoying this season.......the walkers had become the main threat again, from both inside and the out. Suddenly switching to the Governor storyline feels oddly disjointed and strangely timed, if anything.

He's already been so established as a horrendously 'cardboard' character in the tv show that I really don't care about what he's been doing, or his backstory, or whatever. Maybe he wasn't that way in the comic, but I don't read it, so I don't have that reference to go off of.

Get back to hordes of zombies trying to overwhelm the prison.

I like the way the season is going now. It needs to have a balance between zombie killing and interpersonal relationships. The show still struggles with it at times, but needs to keep some sort of balance or it gets too one dimensional.

Along those lines, I hear the network is looking at a new spinoff show wi a different geographic location and characters. I think its a good idea, but thought they could go a couple ways with this and maybe 2 or 3 spinoffs would work.

What about a short season that goes back to the beginning of the outbreak and focus on the CDC and ends with the current characters showing up there. It could explain things from a scientific perspective and show the original outbreak and pandemonium. I know a few movies have been made this way, but it could be done a little different.

How about a season about a group of law enforcement, military, or whoever who try to fight the zombies off, eradicate them, etc. this would satisfy all the fans who want to see copious amounts of zombie killing. This would actually have the potential to evolve into a couple seasons if it worked.

I like the idea (well, all of your ideas, actually) but the problem is the cost to produce it. So many zombies would make the show go practically bankrupt what with all the costs for makeup, costumes, prosthetics, the actors themselves, etc. I distinctly remember that was why there were so "few" zombies in season two.

Now, of course, the show is even more popular than it was back then, so maybe money isn't as big of an issue anymore. I don't know.

They're making another show that can tell separate stories that happen in the same world, but not in the same storyline. I think it's slated for 2015?

I liked the first couple of episodes so far. The Judith smothering scene made me the most squeamish out of everything they have shown throughout the entire series.

Agreed! That was crazy. My wife actually was about to leave the room because she couldn't handle it.

I'm with you fellers. There was once an episode of M.A.S.H. that was somewhat similar and it was downright horrifying.

So glad the Governor plot line is finished. That went on way too long. (Same for the prison, IMHO.) More interesting now that they're out in the world again, and separated in these clusters. Adds to the drama of who will find each other, what/who they run into, etc.

After the first 15 minutes I had settled on, "character X needs to be dealt with", but then I felt terrible for feeling that way given the circumstances surrounding the character's past.

After the climatic scene of the episode I was kicking myself for my earlier sense of remorse. In my little circle of "Walking Dead" fans around work I had that character pegged for many of the early season issues so after the attempted smothering of another character I was done, and by the 2nd break in last's night episode I just wanted that character to die as I said earlier. The only other similar character I've ever despised that much that quickly is Joffrey Baratheon from Game of Thrones.

What an extremely dark and depressing episode.

Wow! Watched This week's episode tonight and holy crap. I mean that blew me away. I can't remember the last time a TV show got to me like that. Not even sure I know which emotion I felt yet, but it was powerful. This season has really cranked it up a notch and I feel like I'm at the edge of my seat. Awesome stuff!

I agree from an earlier post, it's great to be done with the governor. Hated that. Prison was ok for a bit but it's so much better when zombies are the main problem and they are out in the open.

Last Night's episode....First peak at Terminus. The way the season has gone I feel like what will happen is Carol and Daryl will be knocked off in the final episode along with Bob. Obviously the gang Daryl is reluctantly traveling in will be hellbent to kill Rick and Daryl will sacrifice himself to fend them off. Carol likely shows up just in time to also save the day but go down in the fight. Bob saves Sasha. And when all this fighting comes to its end the Terminus gang wind up taking the remaining crew prisoners.

Anyway, just a random prediction. Truthfully, I think they are rushing this final episode of the season and could stand to have 1 more episode. They now have 1 hour to fill in all of the gang reaching Terminus/ exposing Terminus/ The inevitable battle with that Gang and Rick/ the emotional reconnects of Sasha/Tyreese Rick/Carl and Judith. Beth? are they really going to just have it seem she was kidnapped and not spend another minute before the season ends to kinda opening up what happened to her?

Other question I have is if Glen/Maggie crew reached Terminus are Rick,Daryl, and Carol on different train tracks? So they don't see the Blood messages Maggie/Sasha/Bob left on the route?
