Out of those 3 teams you list, I would say I am the biggest fan of the Wild. The team I am most passionate about is definitely the Coyotes though. Good thing they are not moving to Winnipeg next year.

Wild for me. Don't really hate them and we get about 15-20 games a year here. Favorite team though is the Predators. Can't stand the Hawks or Wings.

Man, we really need an NHL team. Move the Bucks.

I used to live about an hour north of Nashville, in fact the hometown of your boy Corey Hart, my brother in law used to play against him in high school [used to hate him then lol [corey not my brother in law]]....and I loathe the Predators. I think what I dislike most about them is the song they play after scoring a goal at home, its so disjointed that it just makes no sense. Can you explain it to me? There is no flow between parts and considering its the Music City I found that disconcerting. As the playoffs wore on this year though, I found myself pulling for them. They are a class organization though, I'll give em that.

I think they just play that song because it's country music and the first words to it are "I like it, I love it, I want some more of it" obviously referring to more goals. Speaking of awful goal songs, the song your Hawks play after they score a goal isn't exactly pleasant. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I was just about to say that. That Blackhawks song is the only song that angers me as much as that stupid "Go Cubs Go" song that gets played once a month or so when the Cubs win at home.

So excited for game 2 tonight...The last time the Canucks were in the semifinals (and the finals), I was turning five years old. My older brother put his knee through the family room drywall when they lost game 7. My other brother was actually a Sharks fan at the time, although he couldn't care less now.

I've learned it depends on which side of the situation you are on. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif My wife and I went to game one of the Stanley Cup last year and that place was so amazing the first time that song blared over the PA system. Just seeing that crowd in person was chill inducing.

One of my favorite videos out there is the one of the Canucks reacting to that song on someones ipod. Hilarious to see those looks of disgust on their faces as they realize what they are hearing.

As for Nashville, I get the 'I like it, I love it...' portion, its the morphing into...what is it, Rock and Roll Part 2 by Gary Glitter? Thats what I don't understand. Again though its like just a good excuse for them to scream sometime about the opponent goalie sucking.

I'm pulling for the Bruins the rest of the way I think, really looking forward to the Sharks and 'Nucks tonight though.

I like Sedin, just pulls off the headphones and says 'Bad memories' repeatedly and walks away.

Your boys look good this year though, how do you think they'll do the rest of the way?

I'm cautiously optimistic. If you had told me that the Sedins would be shut down essentially the entire Nashville series and Luongo would struggle through the first series, I wouldn't have bet on them. Luongo still concerns me, but the team is good enough that even if he is only mediocre they should have a very good shot. Kesler has been absurdly good the past few games, and he has really blossomed into a top-notch two way player. On paper, they're the best team in the league, but we all know that doesn't always translate into success in the playoffs.

In the opening round I reallllllly thought we were in Luongos head. Then when your coach started the backup in game 6 I was sure of it, but kudos to all of them for getting through the Hawks this year. I know from being a Jordan fan back in my teens and twenties that there is always a demon to exorcise and they sure did it up big this year. Was a great series. I saw a few of the games against Nashville and they didn't look bad against them either. Looking forward to the Sharks game tonight, should prove an excellent series.

They were, Hossa's opening goal in game (5?) from the top of the circles under Luongo's arm was one of the weaker goals in recent memory.

Bugger, my internet is too slow for the game. Oh well, internet for me tonight.

I got a chuckle out of Ben Eager taunting Luongo after he cut the deficit to 4.
Eager made a fool of himself that game. I never saw the hit on Daniel, only heard it on the radio, but it sounded like it should have been a fiver. Anybody here see the hit? Was it that dirty?

My wife and I were packing for our move today, and on top of that we had tornado warnings here in Iowa so I didn't get to see much of the game on NBC. Needless to say, when the game went off for a few minutes and then came back I was pretty shocked to see a 3-0 score line.

Hopefully they can finish this off on Tuesday.

I like it when the Canadian teams (or Original 6 teams) get to the finals. Go Vancouver.

Go Canucks Go.

I'm not sure who I want to go through. Honestly I'd rather have the Canucks face the Bruins. Tampa's offense can be so dynamic and I can see that powerplay of theirs giving Luongo fits.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow's game. Even though I'm not a fan of Canadian hockey teams...go Nucks. That is how much I dislike Boston fans. They were terrible when we went to a game at Fenway against the Royals.
