As I say every year at this time, it'd be nice to not have a "last game" loss staring at us from the Brewerfan home page for the next six months. So how about it, Brewers?

Yes on both counts: It almost looks like Aaron Harang should be wiping blood from his fangs with that towel; and that pin is bizarre. Its combination of ridiculous and awesome lured me into buying it during the last homestand.

The last day of the season is always sad, but at least this year there should be plenty of offseason moves to keep us interested--most likely starting tomorrow. Still, it's hard to believe that this is likely Prince Fielder's last game in a Brewers uniform.

I'm also looking forward to the games with playoff implications today--rooting for the Padres who are miraculously still in contention.

Bob Uecker is asking Ken Macha about "next spring." He's such a straight-man.

Edit: But Ken seems to see the writing on the wall, since he's thanking Ueck for the good times (had during the Macha show) for the last two years.

I'm watching on gameday, but why exactly did Escobar sacrifice bunt Cain to 2nd to put a runner on 2nd with 2 outs with Kottaras facing a lefty? That seems pretty dumb.

Edit: Apparently it was only one out, but still pretty stupid to sacrifice bunt to bring up Kottaras to face a lefty pitcher and then the pitcher has to bat.

I've really come to dislike Franci$co Cordero. And Aaron Harang did leave with a blister.

Well...thanks for playing, 2010 Brewers.

Edit: Uecker just invited us to join him in Maryvale in 2011, when the Brewers launch "another championship season." Tear.

I am already missing the Brewers. I have to admit that I had higher expectations for this season than many over the last 20 years. This probably could be its own thread, but I think if we brought the same team back that we had at the end of this season we would have a winning season. We don't have to blow this team up, yet.
