Yeah, I learned the hard way last night that Dish is in the middle of a dispute with Fox Sports, and dropped them as of midnight on September 30. Stinks that I have to miss the last few games of the season, but hopefully it gets ironed out in the offseason. Apparently, if nothing gets done by November 1, Dish may also drop FOX altogether, which would mean no Packer games for Dish subscribers.

There's a website out there (obviously sponsored by Fox) that allows Dish customers to voice their displeasure, if anyone's interested: http://getwhatipaidfor.com/

Thanks for the DISH info. Not being a subscriber myself, I was unaware of the change.

Anyone else speculating/hoping that Todd Coffey has made his last appearance for the Brewers? Under many circumstances, I'd think that was the question of an impatient fan - but since it's my question and I'm still paying attention on October 2, I think my point is valid.

Also, I'm grimly satisfied that the Reds are advancing since they are neither STL nor CHC, but I will definitely savor some Schadenfreude if Franci$co blows a save opportunity in the playoffs.

Wafer-thin silver lining: with the Cubs' 8-3 win over Houston Saturday night, the Brewers clinch 3rd place in the NL Central...and the stage is set for Sunday's epic "battle for 4th" at Minute Maid Park.

/setting watch to see how long it takes the media to spin this into an "upper half of the division" finish/
