Welcome to October baseball. That was more fun to say two years ago, wasn't it?

Mark Rogers, who will make me forget about the last few Brewers to wear #37.

Last year, the Brewers played division champion St. Louis in the last series of the season, and won the series (swept them, even). The Cardinals went on to get swept in the NLDS.

Ueck as they finish up the National Anthem: "And our final score tonight, Brewers 6, Reds 5. Wow. It didn't take Francis Scott Key that long to write it."

I love the national anthem, but I suppose hearing it 162 times a year for however many years... the bad ones probably grind on you a bit. Classic Ueck, though!

Brewers win! Yaaaaaaay! Nice to win 4 in a row.
Apparently all they needed was for you to end your games-attended season, thablingster. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Well, whatever it takes.

I was only able to watch the 2nd and 3rd inning (which I understand were 2 of his best innings) but Rogers looked good. If he can give us something close to what he has shown in his 2 starts next year, I will feel a lot better about next season. What a great story it would be to see Rogers succeed next year!

No kidding. The more I see of Rogers, the more I hope he's given a chance to win a starting job in spring training.

I think the only real thing that could hold Rogers back from being in the starting rotation in 2011 is innings limits.

2009: 64.2 IP

2010: 126 IP

So in 2011 you figure they might at least start him in AAA to monitor the innings more closely. What would be an acceptable jump in 2011 from 126 IP in 2010? That I am not real sure of.
