Yo should be batting 8 today...
You've just given Luis Cruz bulletin-board material. Niese. Real niese.

Also, is the Mets' left fielder's name pronounced "doo-dah"? Because that would be awesome - for those of us not named Duda, at least.

(Edit: It is. When he plays at Miller Park, I hope Dean Rosko plays "Camptown Races" at least once.)

With those two first inning K's, Yo is now just 2 away from 200 for the second straight year. If he gets there, he'll join Teddy Higuera as the only Brewers to throw two 200-K seasons, and both would have done it in back-to-back years.

I thought Braun's bad defense cost him two extra runs in the third. With two outs he failed to get to a fly ball that he should have caught and then made a terrible throw to the plate that should have been at least a close play. Obviously Yo isn't pitching his best but he sure isn't getting much help out there.

Yes, Yo hit the 200 K mark right before the meltdown.

His location just wasn't there the entire game. It just took a turn through the lineup before the Mets finally figured it out and started hitting him hard. It ends up being a disappointing second half of the season for Yo, but I'm still impressed at how poised he seems to be at just 24 years old. His season stats end up looking awfully similar to last year, but I still think he took a couple steps forward in his development. Can't wait to see him again next year, and hopefully he'll be able to hit the 200 inning mark he's shooting for.
