Lorenzo Cain was supposed to get the start in center, but was removed from the lineup for violating team rules. Journal-Sentinel speculates that Cain might've been late to the park, but there hasn't been any confirmation on that, and knowing Macha, I don't know if we can expect an explanation.

Seems odd, since Cain isn't the type to break whatever rules are set by the manager. Stinks that he's getting sent a message when you would think it's unlikely to happen again, but at least Macha's showing he doesn't play favorites.

Incredible how bad defense can cause an inning to take a turn for the worst so quickly. Doesn't help that it looked like Bush lost faith in his defense after Fielder's misplay and started nibbling, too.
Oh, I don't even want to know how bad the error was.

And let's remind Astros fans of how much they're paying Carlos Lee to "move."

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

With a man on first and one out, Lee hit a hard grounder to third and dogged it down the line. McGehee threw it to Weeks, whose feet got tangled with the guy sliding. It looks like Weeks assumed he wouldn't even be able to make a throw, but he looked at first, took a second to set himself, and still got Lee by at least a full step. It was ridiculous. Bill Schroeder could have turned that double play in the time it took for Lee to get to first.
