Does he really have a curve and a slider, and a fastball and a split? Watching, it just looked like he was throwing 2 pitches. The pitch they called a split I figured was a fastball he took a little off of (89) to hit his location, as it was right on the outside corner.

Just back from a whirlwind tour of Miller Park. First off I'd like to say that to date the area and people were some of the most friendly and helpful I've ever met. Every place we ate, drank and watched baseball was first rate. Needless to say we all hope to return.

As far as the ballgame went it could not have been choreographed any better. Lets load the bases for discomfort and create a problem, strike out the side to overcome rather than give in,make a solid fielding play, dominate the next two innings, get your first hit, score the first run. Heck I couldn't have ordered all that from the catalog!

The German food by the Hyatt was outstanding,Guiness at Mo's while waiting for the shuttle (never met a Guiness I didn't like) was a great set up for the game,MGD at the game and sitting 1st row behind the plate not bad for an out of towner (Mark you were squeezed several times),but you got more out of it than you gave up. Braun's place on the river, steaks hit the spot,Zach make the phone call you've got the number.
