Fischer never coached third and Macha brings his friend to coach there.Hopefully this entire staff is fired at the end of the year. Coffey has been terrible ans should not see the mound for the rest of the year bring someone up from 3a and give another youngster a shot

Well at least it was entertaining at the end.

Jeffress deserved better after an excellent AB against Pujols. I'm glad to see the offense didn't just go into hack-and-flail mode after the 6-spot the Cards hung up in the 8th, too. Would've been nice to win, but this just lends more credence to the idea that maybe it's not the pitching as much as it's the defense. There's just no excuse for McGehee constantly booting double play balls, and really, I think a more athletic first baseman makes a play on Holliday's RBI single, too.

I do give Macha credit for going to Jeffress in that situation, however I take the credit away when he pulls Jeffress for Coffey.

Stinks that Gamel K'd again. If he keeps that up he will move even further down the Ken Macha bench. Give him a start Macha, let him get a couple of AB's in a game.

Was at the game and had fun, despite the outcome. I don't know if you could tell on TV/radio, but Colby Rasmus is public enemy #1 for the Cards fans now. A couple guys in the section next to us actually got escorted out after dropping a few choice phrases at him.

Fat person taking like three minutes to run the sausage race = epic.

The knees give it away every time.

There were a lot of Cardinals fans, but the Brewers fans that remained were loud in the 9th inning. At least we were able to make it interesting. If only we could play passable defense on a consistent basis. It was nice to see Jeffress get the chance to face Pujols, he got the ground ball he needed...
