Weeks OBP is .366. I would say he is pretty good at getting on base.

Just picked an arbitrary starting point. Rickie's OBP in August and September - .321, dragged down by a .238 BA. I guess that also says how sizzling he was for a while.

Is it just me, or was Braun's footwork pretty awful on that ball? He charged it, but by the time it got to him he basically was throwing the ball flat footed. Meh. That still can't get past McGehee, Lucroy, and Braddock. Someone has to cut that off.

Is the plate umpire as bad as the Phillies radio announcers are making him sound? I'm listening on XM on and off and they were complaining earlier about the ball and strike calls. Among other things the one guy said "they force you to throw so many more pitches and they think they're so good. They're so arrogant. The younger umpires like Estabrook, they're not good and they're arrogant about being not good"
