Post editor now "fully functional" in Safari and Chrome

As of a couple of hours ago, Yuku staff announced that the WYSIWYG post editor is now "fully functional" in Safari and Chrome. I would assume that this would include other WebKit-based browsers, such as SRWare Iron and Flock 3. I'm posting this in Chrome, and so far, so good.

It'll be interesting to see if the post editor works in Safari for iPhone/iPad and the Android browser. If anyone using those browsers could give posting a whirl and report back, it'd be appreciated. Feel free to use this topic for test posts.

Some Safari/Chrome users may have switched their account preferences to use Yuku's BBCode editor. To switch to WYSIWYG, follow these steps.

In unconverted profiles:

  1. Hit the Account link in the old navigation bar or the wrench icon in the new navigation bar.
  2. Hit the Preferences link in the Settings box at the lower left.
  3. Choose BBCode as your Editor Type and hit the Submit button.
In converted profiles (mainly members who've joined since late May):

  1. Hit the Account link in the old navigation bar or the wrench icon in the new navigation bar.
  2. Hit the Forum link in the submenu near the top of the page.
  3. Choose BBCode as your Editor Type and hit the Save button.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

And I just heard through the grapevine that the WYSIWYG editor still has issues in the Android browser. The last time I checked an iPad, it was loading the Plain Text editor. I bet that's still the case.
