Stupid Computer Question

My mouse "arrow" disappears anytime it is inside of a text box on a webpage. So as I am typing this, if I scroll the mouse into the text box - the arrow vanishes.

 

I have to scroll around a little to find out where it went and then try to avoid the text boxes.

 

 

I HOPE this is just a stupid setting I have wrong. (I have an Acer laptop running Vista Basic)

 

ANyone have any ideas?

I thought I had found it. I unclicked "Hide arrow while typing" thinking that would solve my problem

 

It hasn't.

 

I should have like a text cursur or something while typing...instead I get nothing on my screen. THe arrow disapprears - and no other cursur shows up.

 

Any help is appreciated.
