I'm happy to see Cappy get the start, let's see how much he can give the team.
Well, he preserved the 0-0 tie through the first batter. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif Though Manny might have given up multiple dingers by now.

Still plenty of game to go, hawing said hopefully.

Not really, because Duke made a mistake with a fastball in the HR at-bat, but made a good pitch with the bases loaded that caused Prince to inside-out a pitch out to left.

Pretty sure Manny Parra could've done this. Or at least waited until the 6th inning to do this. Just saying.
I imagine this or a similar thought went through Manny's head as he watched Cappy's outing evolve.

Livin' la vida Lo-Ca! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

I'd like to think that with every hit that Lo gets, the chances of our seeing Gogo diminish. Here's hoping tomorrow's Brewers starter can last a while.

Rough game for Capuano. A lot of credit is owed to Parra for bridging three innings and keeping the Brewers in the game. I think he may have a future as a reliever as he has the stuff, it is just once people get to him the second and third time he nibbles and that's where he gets hurt.

This was a team win, which are the best ones. I was glad to see LoCain with the walk-off. Winning a 4-plus hour game is better than losing it.
