Well, this is interesting, to say the least.

Escobar RF

Counsell SS

Weeks 2B

Fielder 1B

McGehee 3B

Cain CF

Inglett LF

Lucroy C

Narveson P

Not a typo.

Edit: Haudricourt says that Hart gets the night off with a stiff back (after he was pulled early yesterday), and Braun gets the day off with a sore wrist. Looks like Dickerson isn't getting into town until 5 PM.

Adam McCalvy's explanation/interpretation of the lineup. Not that it's any less bizarre as a result. It's like Ken put the roster in one of those pop-o-matic dice shaking things like the old Trouble board game had, and used the results to make his lineup.

And here I'd just emailed my mom to assure her that if Corey had left Sunday's game due to injury, it would have been announced by now. She's going to doubt me now! /shaking fist at Ken/

Braun apparently hurt his wrist in a collision with Brett Wallace beating out that infield single yesterday. Jordan Schelling with the photo evidence:

He apparently needed x-rays on his wrist. Ugh..right when he was getting hot.

-- Jordan Schelling, Associate Reporter.

Oh, nuts. I knew Jordan does a lot of what McCalvy does, but I didn't realize he was posting on McCalvy's blog.

Sorry, Jordan, if you read Brewerfan.

This looks like one of those b-squad lineups from the Yost days. That means this is a guaranteed win. It'll be interesting to see how Escobar fares in RF. Chris Dickerson may need to make a Mench-style entrance if we need a pinch hitter with Braun and Hart down. That leaves our bench as Kottaras. Awesome.

Braun sure didn't have any problem flinging his bat yesterday in his final at bat after popping out, so hopefully he's not doing too badly.

Apparently Dickerson missed a second flight, according to McCalvy. Hopefully he misses the baseball with less frequency than he misses flights.

I feel like we need a platoon name for Adam McCalvy and Jordan Schelling. I like McSchelling, but we can work on that.

Apparently Randy Wolf was preparing to play in the outfield if need be. Fun times.
