Link Report for Mon. 7/26 -- RHP Wily Peralta Debuts at AA

Final: @AZL Brewers 5, AZL Reds 3

AZL Brewers box score

The Brewers got four in the 5th and rode that to victory. Dane Amedee allowed just an unearned run in four innings, and Travis Stortz worked the next four, allowing two runs (one earned), for the win. Putting in a relief appearance for the Reds was RHP Lucas O'Rear, who will be more familiar to you as F Lucas O'Rear from the University of Northern Iowa basketball team. The Brewers struck out 13 times but compensated by drawing eight walks; in fact, everyone but Kenny Allison and Jhonatan Javier coaxed a free pass, and Allison compensated by doubling and driving in three, while Javier was 2-4. Javier, though, committed two throwing errors and a passed ball. T.J. Mittelstaedt was 2-3 with a double. Jody Gerut, in his first rehab appearance, was 0-2 with two walks.
