I want to say something positive about Manny, but I'm at the point where I'm apathetic, at best. Maybe this is the start he can reel me back in.

So Adam Dunn isn't in the Nationals' starting lineup. Interesting.
Maybe it's because there's a tough lefty on the mound? It is interesting, but I'm not making much of it at this point. I really do love the trade deadline.

Seems like it's just a day off for Dunn, at least according to the Nats writers I follow on Twitter. I think it'd be funny if they saw Corey Hart get hurt last night and decided they should maybe give Big Donkey a couple days off this week.

Excellent first three innings from Manny Parra. Jordan Schelling noted an interesting difference in Parra's performance with Lucroy catching, as opposed to Kottaras:

With Kottaras: 1-2, 10.89 ERA, 19 ER, 16 IP, 28 H, 5 HR

With Lucroy: 1-2, 4.18 ERA, 13 ER, 29 IP, 29 H, 4 HR

Small sample size, but he definitely looks more comfortable tonight.
