What the heck on earth was Brad Fischer thinking there?

As soon as that ball went into LF I knew that Prince was going to be head-hunting going into home. It was going to take a near perfect throw to get him because you had to anticipate the collision, I don't have a problem sending him. What's the chances that Gomez gets another hit in that situation?

Sending Prince there was all about payback...it was pretty obvious he was going to be out by a mile.

I too was hoping Prince would have gotten lower and gotten more contact. Still was a good rip.

Pitt Post Gazzette said that the Rats took exception to sending Prince there. The catcher could have just tagged him.

 

They also had Meek saying that Delwyn Young had been plunked because they won big the night before. Can anyone remember the Brewers doing that in recent years or ever for that matter?
