What a difference five years makes.

This is more of a diversion than strictly "major leagues", in my opinion. Besides, it mentions the Seligs. (rimshot)

While poking around today I stumbled across an onmilwaukee.com list from 2002:

100 things the Brewers must do to turn it around

Have a look and enjoy. Some of the items seem to have actually been accomplished since 2002! Here are a few of my favorites:

1. Replace or complement the Selig family with seasoned sports business people.

2. Develop a farm team.

16. Trade anyone for Jeff Cirillo.

54. Bobble heads, bobble heads, bobble heads.

83. Stop platooning so damn much.

91. Part ways with "Senior Smoke" Valerio De Los Santos. (Yeah, it's spelled Senior in the article.)

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

So much on that list to go through, but the best was near the end. #98, I believer regarding Krynzel. Hindsight says that not following that advice was genius. And, replacing Taylor with a GM who would pull the trigger has gone splendidly.

Stop overspending on mediocre free agents: Sean Berry, Alex Ochoa, Matt Stairs, Eric Young, etc

Overspending on mediocre free agents is fine as long as it's not your whole team.

Tell Bill Schroeder to cut that porn star mustache.

Yeah I'm still waiting for that to happen. I think I'm going to have to sneak into the booth one of these days.

Promote David Krynzel to the big leagues; why not?

Yes Arizona, you should promote Krynzel he might actually help your horrid offense.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
