I don't know if this has been mentioned before but Narveson has some pretty good post All Star numbers for his career, hopefully it continues:

 

Pre All Star break 6.29 ERA, 1.60 WHIP, .301 BAA

Post All Star break 2.96 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, .211 BAA

Can someone remind me of what the point of having Jim Edmonds starting in center is? He's not a great fielder anymore

He's a wily, gritty, veteran, leader, team player, clubhouse guy, mentor, gold glover.

And guess what? The difference for Dave Bush was a close call not called the other night. No sympathy here for Atlanta, though I do hope they win the East.
