I think whether or not Cain is in the lineup tonight will be an indication of how much he'll play? If he's in the lineup I'd expect him to take over for Gomez in a platoon with Edmonds, if he doesn't I'd expect that he'll play sparingly with a few spot starts here and there.

Rickie Weeks has started every game but one this year.
And we lost that game 15-3. I think that as long as Weeks says he's healthy he should be starting just about every game, along with Braun and Fielder.

Edit: I'm not suggesting we lost that game because he wasn't in the lineup.

Surprised Gomez is starting against a tough RHP like Hanson. I would have expected Edmonds.
I believe Macha said yesterday that Edmonds will be starting Saturday's game. Pure speculation on my part, but perhaps Gomez is playing tonight because Macha knows Edmonds can't play 3 days in a row without hurting something.

This station ID thing needs to go away quickly:

We are
Fox Sports!
We are
Wisconsin!

It's really seriously annoying.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Brian and Bill made it sound like it was Fischer this time. He was incredibly lucky that throw bounced high when it short hopped McCann.

I wish we could get Randolph back out there at third.

2 days in a row McGehee jogging on the bases. Braun or someone needs to get in his face and tell him the only easy thing to do in baseball is run. After the ball got through the infield he was looking back at the centerfielder instead of running as fast as he can and watching the 3B coach.

I don't think Casey was jogging. That's about as fast as he can run. It almost looks like he's running like his knee still isn't quite right.
Yeah, he's not a speedy individual anyway, but he's looked like he's been running in wet cement recently.

I'm not usually one to call out HBP's as intentional, but that one to Fielder on the first pitch after the Braun HR sure seemed like it was, didn't it?
I think it very well may have been. At first I thought it was Fielder that Hanson hit last series, but I remembered it was Braun. Part of me wants to see Fielder just go crazy on one of these pitchers for nailing him. Watching him go after Hanson just might be worth a few games of suspension time.
