Dave Bush since June 1st

Whether it was the injury or whatever last year, he lost some velocity in the 2nd half last year. Thismakes it pretty clear. He hasn't regained his 1st half 2009 velocity, but it is increasing...

Any evidence that Narveson will be better or just gut feeling? The only thing I can see that Narveson has on Bush is K and BB rates. But Bush has never had great K rates, so I'm not sure that matters. Despite his better K and BB rates, Narveson has yet to have prolonged success as a starter. And those rates are trending downwards...

Frankly, as a SP, neither is trending in the right direction but if Bush's velocity comes back up to 1st half 2009, he will make a serviceable 4/5th starter.

Narveson's best position is as a LOOGY, as his RH/LHB splits are pretty strong.
