I'm reading that both starters are expected to go 2 innings, so at the very least Braun should get to face David Price. Seems like there's a possibility that Manuel will follow 2 innings of Jimenez with 2 innings of Josh Johnson.

Edit: San Francisco beat writer Andrew Baggarly talked to Bruce Bochy, who's one of the NL coaches. Found out that the NL pitching plan is Ubaldo and Johnson for 2 apiece, then Roy Halladay and match-ups (read: tons of relievers) late. Lincecum probably won't go until extra innings.

Ty Wiggington is an All-Star? The Orioles had no-one better?

On a side note, I think the fans booing some of the players is hilarious with the camera right in the face of the players while it's happening. The Red Sox were all booed loudly, or it sounded that way on TV.

Lee is wearing a Rangers jersey. I'm surprised.

Say CC Sabathia was an All Star the year he was traded to the Brewers. What happens then? Would he have been named an AL All Star, but not have been allowed to play?

so are all video tapes that FOX plays muffled in HD on anyone else's TV or is just my local affiliate? My standard def works fine, and the live stuff in HD is fine. Just anything recorded and played back is completely muffled. For instance, the entire opening bit and the allstars among us tribute video was so muffled we couldn't understand a word of it.

I like that some of the players handled the boos with laughs. Some didn't look pleased, though.

Forget all the haters who want MLB to get rid of the at least one All-Star per team requirement. I still love seeing our guys get introduced.

Also, that was really, really cool to see Corey get to run out there as a starter. I'm very happy for him.

I've got to agree with you.

Even the celebrity national anthem was decent this year.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

He wasn't an All Star that year so nothing happened. I'm just wondering what would happen in a situation like that.
I don't think that he could wear the uniform of his new team, even if he had made it. It would seem like it would be a conflict of interest since he would have been Brewers property at that point.
