That was a brutal inning. It sure would be a heart breaker to lose this game.
Yup. This is definitely a remote control throwing type of game. Macha is such an idiot for taking Manny out. He would have been able to finish the inning just fine.

The guys on MLB Network are being idiots, imo. They had a live look-in to the Brewers game in the 6th when Houston rallied. Bourne was up and Harold Reynolds was getting all offended that Villy didn't give the guy anything to hit on 1-2 and 2-2. He was saying that since the Brewers were up by 3 and he had a 1-2 count, he should just give Bourne something to hit. When it got to a full count, Reynolds said, "And now the runners will be going. I hope he hits one in the gap. Go Astros."

Yeah, because runners on 2nd and 3rd would be running on full count. So, of course Villy did give Bourne something to hit on full count and the dude got a hit. Reynolds patted himself on the back later when they came back to the game.

Also, the host/anchor of the show called Mark A. "that guy" when the telecast showed him on TV, as if "that guy" was just some fan in the stands. Oops.

no i would move Parra to the pen and go with Youngster in the Pen, their the ones who have been carring the Pen anyway.

yep because it makes so much sense to have our best pitchers pitching the fewest possible innings.

Prince is having a really rough year. His OPS is not that far from Braun but it just seems like he is not getting many big hits. I am probably wrong on that but I do not feel confident when he gets to the plate.

same old Brewers can't learn to win and the march back to 10 games under 500 begins. Manny hope you enjoyed your time as a starter because it now ends.
The last couple of innings have been cruddy to follow, but it seems early to assume that the Brewers will lose all three games of this series, or that the Brewers will decide that Manny was the biggest problem tonight.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
