I was just bouncing around and looking at the leaderboards... Haren leads the league in Strike Outs with 97, Lincecum has 96... and the next pitcher... Ricky Romero tied with Wainwright at 91. Romero has been one of the better stories from the last 2 seasons that doesn't get much run.

I was almost thinking the same thing. I'm happy Davis is feeling better because I'm sure it's been a scary situation, but the starting pitching has seemed to be very good lately, especially from the young guys. I'm worried that Manny Parra's going to end up getting yanked out of the rotation again, which wouldn't be fair with the way he's pitched the last couple outings.

Doug Davis should not be inserted back into the rotation. Put him on the 60 day DL or in the bullpen and send Chris Smith back down, or trade him or DFA.

 

I'm toggling between Brewers and Nats bobbleheadman. I'd say Strasburg doesn't look as sharp today, but he's only allowed two hits and has 8 k's through 5 1/3. He is really bothered by the mound, and seems to be trying to strike out every single batter.
