I'm kind of half listening to the radio call. Did Davey Nelson actually say that Lew Burdette would have faced Lou Gehrig?
I heard Davey say that Burdette was named Lew at birth but came to prefer the spelling Lou because of Gehrig. That's all I noticed from the radio call, to which I am also half listening.

I'm actually looking forward to watching Feliz pitch next inning against the crew.

I was checking minor league scores and didn't realize Hoffamn came into the game, probably not then considering it's 1st and 2nd with no out.

Feliz isn't sharp at all, missing badly or right down the middle.... opportunity is knocking.,

Damn, I got worried when Prince swung at ball 4, I would have liked to see Braun up, he hit the ball hard all night.

Peavey, you mean the breaking ball that got the corner? Gameday showed it was clearly a strike. Looked good in real time. Actually, he should have called the second ball a strike, too. The pitch was in the zone for sure, he just missed his target by a foot.

Rough game. Prince is in an awful funk where he isn't driving anything. Soft fly balls, poor strikeouts, or weak groundouts. Nothing is being driven
